- As of: 2026-05-31
What it measures
The total market value of all final goods and services produced within India's borders in a fiscal year, measured at constant (inflation-adjusted) 2022-23 base-year prices — strips out price changes to show real volume growth.
How it is calculated
NSO compiles GDP at constant prices using the production (value-added by sector) and expenditure (final consumption + investment + net exports) approaches, deflating nominal output by sector-specific price indices.
